Moors Edge sleeps up to 4 people plus a cot in 2 bedrooms which can be twins or super kings. There is a large family bathroom with bath and shower. The very spacious lounge has a fully fitted kitchen at one end and a log burner and large settees at the other. The wall mounted T.V. has free sat. Moors Edge is flagged through out with under floor heating. Smoking is prohibited within the cottage, but dogs are welcome ( max of 2,  £10/dog)

Outside there is a raised patio area facing full south, plus a lawn/picnic area. A B.B.Q and fire pit can be provided with prior arrangement.

There is ample private safe parking.

Moors Edge is in a very secluded place 1/3 mile off the tarmac road, within an enclosed area, surrounded by fields. There are always animals in the fields as the cottage is situated within farmland. Moors Edge is attached to Bank Farm House where you can buy fresh bread, eggs and bags of logs if required.

It is ‘downhill’ walk of 5 mins to one of the 2 pubs in the village. The nearest being the White Horse, the other being the Coach House. Both pubs serve food and menu’s are available in the cottage.

Local attractions include;
East Coast; Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Staithes, Sandsend and many many more.
Also Locally; Castle Howard, Eden camp, Flamingo land, Pickering and it’s steam railway (of Hogwarts fame).
These are just a selection of the many many attractions.

There are local produce markets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday located at;
York, Malton, Rieavaulx, Helmsley, Pickering, Kirby Moorside and many more….

It is the perfect place for walkers with an abundance of stunning views.
